Is there a fee to access or hire your talent?

No. Our university recruiters work to build our own in-house talent pool and this is available to all clients on our platform for no additional fee.

How can your talent pool help my recruiters?

We do the upfront work of sourcing student applicants, vetting their resume submissions, and conducting a soft skills screening interview to check for candidate maturity and role fit. By the time we introduce a candidate to your hiring managers or recruiting team, there is a high likelihood of good fit. Instead of reviewing hundreds of students, most of our clients only need to interview 5-7 of our students in order to find a great hire.

How diverse is your talent pool?

We have an exceptionally diverse talent pool and specialize in sourcing under-represented students for our clients. We recruit from HBCUs, community colleges, and more. Read more about our summer 2022 diversity metrics on our blog!

Does Intern Scale replace Handshake, Ripple Effect, etc?

In our opinion, there is no need to use Handshake, Ripple Effect, or other student marketplaces if you have access to our talent pool. We have 98% success rate in finding high-quality student matches and meeting diversity hiring goals. That said, if you prefer to continue to source candidates from other places, that is perfectly ok!

How do students apply? How are they screened?

We have a general Intern Scale application on our website that serves as the 'common application' for students interested in our internships. Our team then conducts an application and resume review before setting up a 15min screening interview with qualified candidates. If the candidate passes our screening interview, we begin matching them to internships.
